Alloy 20

Alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium-based austenitic alloy with exceptional corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and other harsh conditions. To prevent intergranular corrosion, this alloy is stabilised with niobium. When compared to higher nickel-based alloys, Alloy 20 may offer possible cost savings while outperforming ordinary stainless steels.
